What do you think about a particular character's actions? Was he/she right or wrong to do that?
In this section that I read, I feel that Jimi should not have done marijuana, speed, or LSD. He said that he would listen to Bob Dylan and get stoned off of LSD just to get a thrill. He should not have done this because drugs were, and still are, bad for everyone. They can kill you or make you very ill. He died of drugs. If he did not do drugs, he might still be making great music today.
What has surprised you in the book? Why?
Something that surprised me was that Jimi was in the Army. He was in the 101st Airborne. It surprised me because I would never guess that a famous guitarist would have started in an Army. Eventually, he made himself get disscharged my saying that he was having homosexual feelings for his fellow crew members. He was also taking drugs. Right after he left, he came back so he could have a place to stay.
